Well, in light of the recent crash, The formula will be getting a full repaint. While I'm at it, may as well go ahead and make her my dream car #2 lol. I'm looking for a crazy dark gray/silver that looks black in certain light. Closest I have found are the gray on the new viper, Graphite metallic -http://www.dodge.com/en/2009/viper/ - (looks awesome in person!).

If you want it darker, just have the shop add more black. Simple to do!

ok, Heres what it looks like I'm going to go with! Charcoal gray metallic, w/ extra black to be 1/2 shade darker + black pearl for the last 1/2 shade. What do you guys think? Basically it will be daytona gray pearl effect, just darker :)

LOL.. black pearl = does not exist = FAIL!...

so yeah.. reverse that - Charcoal gray for the mixing base, add black to darken 1.5 shades. Silver pearl to bring back the .5 shade in light and have the color of my dads car during the day haha.

Should be done, superhawk hood and all at the end of next week. Car is prepped and the jams, trunk, and other recesses are being sprayed this weekend or monday humidity/weather determining!

I can't believe how fast this is going.. granted last time my grandfather did a car for me it took 8 months... this is going to be done in less than 2 weeks if the arrival of parts permits O_O
