Anyone have any ideas on a transportable type of flooring that I can use for car shows and such. Either how I can make it myself or somewhere I can purchase one?

Well, if you could find some black and white checkered lynolium you could use that. Probably expensive and bulky though.

Or you could buy some individual black and white squares of lynolium and set them around the perimiter and wheels of your car.

I always see mirrors, but I don't like that too much.
