Is there ANY way to find out my build number?mark896 01-12-2003, 04:00 PM Car is in sig. I've seen one guy's site (who has a WS6) with a build number on it and I want to know mine! PhantomTA 01-12-2003, 04:14 PM You have to contact ASC and give them your vin mark896 01-12-2003, 06:40 PM Who is ASC? You have their number? gregoryjb 01-12-2003, 10:14 PM I believe you can find your number if you post your vin over at the SLP website. (www.slpeng.com) mark896 01-13-2003, 05:06 AM Wait a minute.... I just logged onto the ascglobal.com website... I thought SLP made all of the WS6 conversions!! They make the SS's don't they?! PhantomTA 01-13-2003, 07:56 AM Im trying to figure out why he gave you SLP's website.. ASC did all the WS6's from 98 up... bbentley40 01-13-2003, 09:17 AM The common misconception... SLP did SS's and Firehawks, up until GM just started making this changes on the assembly line, but they were still marketed as SLP conversions. The WS6 was converted by ASC. If you have a WS6 contact ASC for your build #, if you have a SS or Firehawk contact SLP. Dimoncutr 01-13-2003, 02:09 PM How do you register to ascglobal.com? It ask's for a user name and password. But not a way to become a member. 96SFLZ 01-13-2003, 02:49 PM I'd try giving them a call, 734-246-2772. Also, another website is www.asc-usa.com I doubt it's any different but... 99blackSS 01-13-2003, 06:05 PM Originally posted by bbentley40 The common misconception... ROTFLMAO! :D That is absolutely false! GM doesn't own SLP, SLP is it's own seperate company. Why do you think they are making the Ford Thundervolt. Only the GM SS was built on the "line", SLP optional equipment was done at SLP in Troy Mi. As were all the Firehawks. :alert: Please, don't post misinformation. | ||
