The most efficient way to distribute cars via truck is to send one truck to one dealership. Somebody has to be first. :) It's not like the truck is going to drive around to all of the Chevy dealers in a region and drop off one Camaro at each, and then do it again and again and again until they've met the full allocation for each dealer. alexss 04-21-2009, 11:17 AM Sweet.. i wonder when are they distributing those out????? Tokuzumi 04-21-2009, 11:18 AM that fourth gen looks so much longer then the 5th gen. the front bumper was at the curb and still hung out way past the rear of the 5th gen. The 4th gen was sitting way away from the curb. The 5th gens were hanging a little over the curb. http://i40.tinypic.com/205dz5h.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/vqqyjm.jpg ex-SS-ve 04-21-2009, 11:19 AM that fourth gen looks so much longer then the 5th gen. the front bumper was at the curb and still hung out way past the rear of the 5th gen. those are all for sold orders for that dealership, or display cars? and how did 1 dealership get so many cars in the first month? that pic is actually a lil deceiving . due to angle/distance that it was taken. couldnt pull up to the curb closer as i didnt want to scratch or bump my front bumper! they are actually about the same size in length. just that 4th gens have so much overhang that it plays tricks parked next to the 2010. those cars sit up pretty high. the car looked considerably larger than my zq8 colorado . whizkid89 04-21-2009, 11:52 AM which dealership are the cars at? TS 95Z 04-21-2009, 12:06 PM I think I know where I'm going today. (I'm about 10 minutes from there.) 2010_5thgen 04-21-2009, 01:17 PM The most efficient way to distribute cars via truck is to send one truck to one dealership. MetalDragon 04-21-2009, 02:07 PM which dealership are the cars at? I believe that's Lonestar Chevy on the northwest side of Houston. JasonD 04-21-2009, 02:18 PM Good pics! Post them here as well so people don't have to click over. I know Tim at 5GO won't mind, we help each other out. JakeRobb 04-21-2009, 02:38 PM so what if a dealership only has allocation for 3 or 4 cars? their gonna just deliver those 3 -4 cars? so maybe half, or whatever number , of those were for customers and the rest are for stock for the lot? I imagine they'd fill up the rest of the truck with Impalas. :) blackbirdta 04-21-2009, 04:16 PM it's sad, but I was checking out the '93 in the pics just as much as the 5th gens doesn't help me in convincing myself to spend $35k :o ex-SS-ve 04-21-2009, 05:49 PM it's sad, but I was checking out the '93 in the pics just as much as the 5th gens doesn't help me in convincing myself to spend $35k :owhen i pulled up and seen the cars behind the gates initially it made me smile. however once i got up close and shot some more pics i really wasnt excited nor awed in any way. guess im just getting old , however still very glad and happy that i ordered one and will have it for myself soon! Camaro350z28 04-21-2009, 06:42 PM i think i wanna just get another 4th gen. think i still like them better. bah just need to see 5th gens on the road! I live close to a rail yard. They get all kinds of cars dropped off there. They could put a few camaros, Pick ups, SUV's what ever they got going out to a dealership. I almost never see a truck with just one model of car going out of there. | ||
