This is really weird. I don't know what to think. The car is old enough that it could have changed hands many times, and it could have had the ground effects and wheels added on by one of the owners. What in the world is a Canaska-JVR? I looked it up on google and only got very old results for some racer who happened to drive a Camaro.

Does anyone have info?

The wheels are what my dad's Corvette used to have on it. He stupidly did a burnout and ruined the wheels and switched to Torque Thrust wheels. They were Speedline brand wheels designed to look like Ferrari wheels to my knowledge.

The ground effects are tasteful, yet aren't something I particularly follow. What ground effects are these?

The interior isn't factory either. Look at the seats.

The engine looks untouched. Nothing is popping out at me.

Anybody know anything about the history of this car? I emailed the seller, but haven't heard back yet. I asked if they had any documentation about it. This is very confusing.

A better question would have been, "Who cares"? In my opinion it not worth any more then any other 94 vert.

I got a nearly useless email back from the seller.

Canaska racing in Canada conversion package.

Didn't tell me what was part of the package. :o

I only care because info will have to end up on my site someday if I want it to be really comprehensive.

Bran's something of a 4th gen Camaro historian.

Either that or I'm just really anal retentive.

Man, you just never know. One of these days when the 4th gen is almost entirely vanished from the streets, your wealth of information on the car could be the "shbox.com" of 4th gen history. :D

It probably will be.

Maybe by then I'll be able to figure out how to make some money off wasting all this time.

looks like a standard leather interior to me

Bid is at $6600, reserve not met, this guy has pretty high expectations for an unremarkable LT1 Camaro

Back in 95, there was someone through Canasaka racing, that was using a camaro...Didn't get very far, however.

The stitching pattern on the inserts is different.

The stitching pattern on the inserts is different.

It took me a minute to see it. But it is definitely different than my 95, but exactly like my 94 was. I just now realized that pattern and my old 94's pattern is different than my current car and all other LT1 cars I have seen. Maybe a 94 only pattern? 94 was the first year of leather in the 4th gens. I believe there were only 400 or so beige leather interiors if my memory serves correct. That was out of 1200 or so leather interiors, the other color being graphite.

These are the same leather seats I have in my Z. They are made by:

I have a '94 with beige leather. The seats do not look like this car. They have the same stitching pattern as the cloth.

It was probably like the Yenko camaros..... Limited editions made at a dealership or as stated, by a racing team/company, etc...:)

Didn't sell the first time. Has relisted and is up to $7,100.00 and still hasn't met the reserve. This guy is really dreaming.

So I'm an unsuccessful racer. If, when I'm done with customizing my 97, I put NQR/CAMARO on the side, can I sell it for 3 times what it's worth???

It's really weird I haven't heard of a so-called Canaska Camaro before. In that link someone posted, they call it a Canaska Camaro just like they refer to a Saleen Mustang. Seems like it must have been a legitimate edition. I thought I knew the '94 and '95 stuff better than any set of years, so I guess I need to do a bit more research.

Z28SORR--Will your NQR Camaro be a special color...? :D

RK sport GFX and an LG rear spoiler or Freedom Design. Nothing special about the car other than the name designation and I can't really say it's authentic or not.

I forgot to say that the seller never replied to my request for documentation. I would assume that the ground effects, wheels, and spoiler add-on are part of the package, and the seat covers are replacements. The eibach springs are possibly part of the package as well. Who knows?

I'll have to email my dad and ask him if he ever researched and figured out what the name of those wheels are that came on his Corvette when he bought it used. They were the same as those on this car.

BTW, it only says Canaska/JVR on the passenger side and not the driver's side, so... weird.
