help me with these wires

Just bought a pioneer navi unit and theres two wires i am comfused to as where they are at...

Speed dectection circuit
Reverse gear signal

Can anybody help me to find these wires, i think the speed one is near the pcm, not sure what color and the reverse one should be near the console???

if you have an a4, reverse will be one of the 6 that plug in to the gear select, an m6 will be on the side of the tranny. VSS can be found at the pcm or transmission.
