Did you order any other parts? plugs, wires, mail order tune, etc. johnny6 05-12-2009, 04:29 PM Yeah it's definitely going to be louder, in a good way :) H2O 05-13-2009, 09:04 PM I am near the end of my Pacesetter install. I went WAAAY over budget. I kept finding more things to fix. These include tensioner, opti, waterpump, front seals, oil lever sensor, A/C hose. These were all found to be failing once you spend about 20 hours under the car!!! Dont forget anti seize for plugs and bolts. Ultra copper for block off if you are removing EGR. Buy plenty of zip ties, you will need them. Are you doing wires? I went OTVC and bought a set from Thunder Racing. They are Taylor and need to be crimped. I messed them up and have ordered a set from CC performance parts. They are pre-made OTVC set. Worth the money since I already wasted $$$ on the Taylor set. Watch out for the passenger side. The first tube hits the a/c line. I needed to bend mine. Would have been easier if the headers were not already in there. Also put in all the plugs on the pass side befor mounting the header. They are difficult to get to with Pacesetters. Good luck! | ||
