Either getting Hotchkis or BMR springs.Was wondering as to what struts/shocks to use. The car is a daily driver,no track, etc.Thanks

 

I'd give Sam Strano a call if he's still around. He might be able to get you some custom fitted for your springs. Might not hurt to call BMR or Hotchkiss either. I had bilsteins and they worked great.

You won't be getting any struts, because 4th gens don't have any.

 

That's why I put shocks/struts.

 

Just called BMR and the tech guy said KYB,Tokico or Bilstein would all work fine.

 

Yea, just shocks front and back, no struts.

Out of those three I'd go bilstein HD's, I like my SLP spec'ed ones, but then again I had their SLP spec'ed Eibach springs too.

The Hotchkis springs don't seem to lower as much, and have a slightly softer spring rate compared to the BMR springs.

 

I have Hotchkis springs. The rates for the rear Bilsteins are to stiff in compression IMO. I expect the others are too.

BMR makes decent products, I own some. But that's not great advice. Talk to Sam.

 

I am using koni's with hotchkis springs. Rides great. I would not go with anything else but koni's when lowering.
