Red face Removing Emergency Brake Plastic Handle??

I have a 97 camaro and the one screw? holding the damn thing on looks like it has no removal configuaration as in flat philips allen etc just looks like a little round hole but doesn't look stripped. i put an allen in there to no avail it actually looks like a brad/ anyone know how the hell this comes out?

to clarify this isn't the actual handle but the plastic piece that slides on the top of it- need to remove center console.

PM Shoebox/Shobox? Can't remember how he spells his name. He posts a lot in the LT1 tech area and knows more about taking apart and putting back together 4th gen Camaros than anybody else I know.

You must not know what his name references . It is shoebox.

I assume it references an older car from about the '40s, but have never really thought about it.

His name is misspelled somewhere... I can't remember where... maybe it's in his website URL.
