About the side mirror adjustment in the podcast

Adjust side mirrors out so u dont c your car side panels. Look in rear view and the sec u lose the car in the rearview u it will pop up in the side view mirror. Sort of weird but that's how the commericial driving schools make the drivers do it. Doing this covers the blind spot in all cars.

I found the original post that I was talking about in the Podcast and it was by our very own PoSSum, who is one of my fellow Disciples.

Adjust the center mirror centered on the rear window.
Check what you see at the edges.
Set the outside mirrors to just slightly overlap the edges of what you see in the center mirror.
You shouldn't need to shoulder check anymore. Your peripheral vision will pick up anything beside you when you check the outside mirrors.

It seems strange at first, because you don't see the side of the car at all, but as you get used to it you'll have a much better feel for what's going on around you.
I tried it and it works well. I now feel a bit more comfortable driving now than I did before, just takes some getting used to.

For those who don't know Art, he is a good guy and VERY VERY dedicated to Camaros.

I think this is very good advice and since the rear visibility is a topic of issue, folks may want to consider saving it.

I have always adjusted my mirrors that way. I was taught to do so by my father, and in Drivers Ed (taken as a FREE elective while in HS)
Good point for those who don't know however, so thanks!
