I really need help though i will be getting 3.73's soon and i just need to know how to tune my speed O and Tac to compensate for the 3.73's. How do i do this???? Thank you Brian Whoaaaa.... no one got "snot nosed" with you. They questioned why you were using octane boost (which may have contributed to the problem you were having), and asked you to clarify what you meant when you said you were revving your engine to "5, 6, 7" (another completely valid request). Both of those were legitimate questions, and you went off the deep end with your attitude. Now you're extending your argument into another thread. Get rid of the attitude, or no one is going to want to help you. I know I won't. That Camaro Guy 03-22-2009, 11:21 AM Tuner Cat has a built in tool to help you adjust your speedo for new gears. It's under the "tools" tab called "speed calibration". Just enter your tire size IE 273/35/18 and your new gear ratio and click "calculate" then "apply". Your tachometer will not need any adjustment for new gears. With the stock 2.73s your torque converter will lock up around 45mph, with 3.73s and the computer fixed through Tuner Cat for the new gears it will now lock up around 33mph. The speedo adjustment will fix your speedometer to read accurate and adjust your shift tables accordingly. If someone is asking you questions, they're probably just trying to make sure that they're helping you solve the correct problem and make sure you don't have another one you may be unaware of.
