Hello my camaro had the Bose system so there were no speakers in the side panels just the speaker cutouts and it has 4 bolt-sized holes around the cutout but the holes dont have any threads to screw in? are all camaros with the bose system like this? it had sticky rubber stuff around the cutouts so i managed to stick the speakers on there but they dont sound nearly as good as the door speakers? Am i supposed to install baffles in there? Its an Alpine headunit with alpine type S speakers rewired. thanks!

Just use self tapping screws to hold it into the sheetmetal fine. In fact I always use those instead of what usually comes with them. You dont need baffles for the door speakers.

You can get the Slide On Nuts (http://media.photobucket.com/image/car%20stereo%20speaker%20slide%20nuts/ej25goddess/Automotive/evilbrackets.jpg) at Lowes or Home Depot.
I would also recommend Baffles in the Sail Panels. This helps quite a bit with the sound, as well as keeps the speaker dry when Water Leaks From the Rear (http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/showthread.php?t=495857)
Did you replace any other part of the system or is all still stock??? If you just dropped in the speakers, they may not be 100% compatible, as the Bose System has seperate amps at each speaker, and is also designed for a 1 ohm Load.
