how can i tel lif i have 2.73s or 3.23s? from the factory

Look on the RPO code sticker, which is on the back of the driver side door.

You will see one of these codes:

GU2: 2.73
GU4: 3.08
GU5: 3.23
GU6: 3.42

For any 4th gen pre 1996, the RPO codes are in the glove box.

He has a '93, they're in the glove box.

If you do not have "Drive one" then you should have 2.73's. I also heard that only the performance cars only got the 3.23's (z rated tires, 150mph speedo), however I do not know how true that is.

Yes if your car has first gear on the shifted you have 323 if you can onley go in to second you have 273.

speedometer goes to 150 and i have 1 on my shifter.and came with z rated tires. i thought i had 3.23s soo i guess i was right ..thanks for the help ..
