King Moose SS 03-09-2009, 04:56 PM I'm just wondering.... I haven't ordered a camaro. If I showed up to the dealership on March 16th, could I possibly pull out a V6. Or is it impossible? JakeRobb 03-09-2009, 05:29 PM I'm just wondering.... I haven't ordered a camaro. If I showed up to the dealership on March 16th, could I possibly pull out a V6. Or is it impossible? On March 16th, no dealers will have taken delivery of any Camaros. The first production Camaros won't even roll off the line until near the end of the day. So, it's impossible. You can expect the first Camaros (which are already claimed by people who submitted preorders) to arrive at dealerships a week or two after that, depending on location. It'll probably be 3-6 months before you can walk into a dealership and test-drive a Camaro from the lot. SSPORT10 03-09-2009, 06:52 PM I'm hoping by Thursday I know what my production date is. :) Me too...Thursday is usually the day of the week that orders are pulled, correct? 8Banger 03-09-2009, 07:08 PM Me too...Thursday is usually the day of the week that orders are pulled, correct? That is correct!! MetalDragon 03-09-2009, 07:57 PM It'll probably be 3-6 months before you can walk into a dealership and test-drive a Camaro from the lot. It may be longer than that. Not that it will take that long to make them but the general public is just starting to see them at the big car shows (and hearing that it's not just a concept this time) and, by the time they start hitting the streets and the new Transformers movie comes out and the magazines are on the shelf, I would imagine there could be quite a few people standing in line to be able to order one. I hope not...I wasn't able to order right away and was hoping to be able to get my hands on one by Sept. at the latest. We'll see what happens; I just don't see many sitting on lots before the end of the year.
