RAM Powergrip HD LT1. Anyone use it?

I've been looking into the RAM Powergrip HD clutch for my car. I currently have the Spec 4 in the car and it's begining to slip after 3 years. I'm not a huge fan of the clutch at the track do to it engaging so hard with no slipping. The car is slipping spraying out of the hole as it sits with a drag radial. I've blown apart 3 spec 3's and trashed a centerforce back in the day and was wondering if anyone used the Ram PG HD. The clutch needs to hold a 200 shot on launches and is 550rwhp/600rwtq. I'd like to stay away from the street twin. My friend has a 434sbf with about 580 rwhp in his mustang and his Ram HD took the abuse really well. Thanks.

I installed one about six months ago. The clutch holds great at the track with radials and Nitto Drag radials. It engages nicely on the street with a limited amount of slip without chatter.

After six months of use and maybe six drag racing events I tore it apart to install it on a new setup (383 with Dart PRO 1 heads). I found that the disc was pretty much gone. Ram clutches lists their thicness limit specification for this disc as .280" That is where I am at right now.

i used this clutch for about 15k miles making about 410 rwhp, I've hotlapped it on 315 bfgs with 4500 rpm launches and its never slipped one bit. Flywheel and pressure plate look great no slippage. I do notice that the friction material is at maybe 30% left after 15k street miles. Not back I guess for an iron friction material. I get some chattering on the street, definitely doesn't slip too well on hills, more of a drop and go type clutch. New motor will make 650+ rwhp on nitrous so I can't see this clutch lasting too much longer, possibly moving to a spec stage 5 or centerforce dfx.

I recently tore my clutch apart to replace the TOB. I have a Spec 3+ and my flywheel and PP friction surfaces look like the above pics. With 3K miles, I saw no wear on the disk at all although you can see where metal is disappearing from the FW an PP. My 3+ is a full face disk that will last longer than the puck style from RAM.

That does not look normal. Those hot spots are too heavy. It looks like it's been slipping a lot. This is my HDX after 10k miles of street driving:
