TA Dreaming

Ok guys here is the simple jist of it. I will be using an LT1/T56 combo to power my 79TA. I was going to go with a stroked LQ4/9 so as to have a Gen 6.6. Well, now that the plans have changed I still want the same performance as I would have gotten with the 402. If this was your LT1, how would you build it so that it performed like a big cube Gen3?
Some basic guidelines: I am on a budget and would like to keep the stock heads and intake versus switching to a carb style intake. I would prefer to go single turbo to be different but am not against going with a blower. However, in keeping with the big cube power band I am after, I do not want to start building boost at 3k like a Procharger does. I would rather be at full boost by 3k. Since this is a street car that is built in the pro-touring style versus drag race, I was thinking I would keep boost around 8-10 psi max and my compression at 9.75 or there abouts. Honestly, I would just like a very broad power band with loads of torque with goals of 450+ hp and over 400ftlbs at the wheels everywhere I can in the range.
Now, if you have some better ideas or I am completely off on something, please speak up. It's going to be a while before I start building. I'm merely starting my research now and just thought I would ask people's opinion.
Thanks guys
Trey
