One day the speakers worked, the next they did not...
All speakers and the head unit are aftermarket, and installed by a reputable local audio shop back home. I would just go back to them to get it fixed, but "home" is an hour away... so I'll check to see if any of you have suggestions of where to start debugging this...
I've got regular old speakers in the front doors of the Camaro, component speakers with crossovers in the side panels, and the stock speakers in the rear hatch with 2 subs in the T-Top glass area. A 1000 wt amp powers the subs, and a 500 wt amp powers the other speakers.
Right now the only thing in the vehicle that makes sound speakerwise are the subs, but the sound is VERY minimal; very quiet... I can tell what song is playing from the bass beat that comes out of the subs, so I guess it is receiving a signal from the radio... I checked the fuse coming off the battery, and the fuse coming from each amp; all seem to be working correctly, but I could be wrong.
Any suggestions? I probably haven't put up enough information but if you need to know anything else to form an opinion I'll do my best to accomodate. Thanks.
