Touch Screen DVD player

Im replacing the stock cd player with a new clarion touchscreen dvd player. I have the harness set and plugged in. I have one wire that i need to connect to the wire between the parking brake light on the dash and the parking brake itsself. Can anyone give me a rough estimate on where the wire in needing is located at exactly...

I believe you can just connect it to a ground and it will work without having to have the ebrake on.

I think if you hook that up to the parking brake......you will only be able to use it when the parking brake is on......I have a Panasonic flip out dvd player and mine doesn't require the parking brake to be on...It was on the car when i got it so i dont know how it was hooked up.........Good Luck

Yes if you dont ground out the parking brake wire you wont be able to watch anything while your driving.
