Camber Adjustment on a 1995 Z28

I've got some severe inside tire wear on my '95 Z28. Are there camber adjustments available? I can't seem to find the eccentric.

If not, how do we adjust for severe negative camber?

mine was my front strut i had terrible wear on the inside, replaced it and fixed it ...to bad it didnt fix my tires

The Camber is adjusted with loosening the front lower "A" arm nut , and the caster is adjusted with loosening the rear nut.
Camber's probably not your main problem.
You probably have to much "Toe Out", which will cause accelerated wear on the inside tire edge.
FYI, I've always(7-8yrs) ran at least -1 degree camber up front and the only time I had any accelerated wear on the inside tire edge was when my front "Toe" was out of adjustment (To much "Toe-out").:yes:

Excellent advice. Find a shop that has a good rep. I happen to have a neighbor that has his own shop, and that's all he does.

I figured out why an alignment for a Camaro should be performed at a place that has a reputation. I went to the chain alignment (name not posted) location and the Camaro requires a special service tool.

This store had great customer service and let me into the shop during the tire installation and the alignment. They pulled the screen on the Hunter Alignment Rack to show me the $600 alignment tool charged by GM that is necessary for the alignment.

There are so few Gen IV vehicles (1995) that are serviced there that they do not have the tool, however, he called and left messages with Matco and Snap On while I was there.

So, it is important to go into a shop that has the SST. Otherwise, they will only be doing toe-in/out only and charging you full price.

The SST looks like two-hook shaped pieces that are threaded with a double-ended female nut.

But, it can also be done with a ratcheting tie-down strap; I've seen it done before.

You do not need the tool to do an alignment.

The next problem is that I lose traction and spin the tires from 4800 to OMG. Low in grip is "adequate" with a careful launch...
