Hey guys, I am looking into doing LS1 Front Brakes on my '95 Z28. I found a '98 T/A in a junk yard with the front-end intact (wheels are still on it even) and I can get everything I need from it.
My question is do I need the brake lines off the '98 T/A or from another LS1 f-body or can I use the brake lines that are on my '95 Z28?
Thanks!

I've read here that you can use the LT1 lines, but have to bend the brake line bracket for them to work. I'm in the process on doing the upgrade now. I have the Earl's SS lines for a LT1, so I'm hoping I can bend the brackets and still use them.

I'm doing the conversion also. The brake lines are different. I would not bend the bracket, I plan to order 98+ lines with 2 extra inches length to prevent damage.

I did the 98+ brake upgrade almost 8 years ago. I bent the oem brackets slightly and reused my oem brake lines. It has worked perfectly since then. :DAs I recall the 98+ brake lines did not have the correct shaped fitting to 'lock' into place and secure the lines to the bracket.

I used 2000 C5 Corvette front brake hoses and they provided the perfect amount of slack without any modification to the hard lines. Did the conversion in 2003.

Did you purchase them new OEM ? Do you have part numbers?

Well guys I went down to the junk yard today with my Dad and we pulled everything associated with the front brakes on that '98 T/A including brake lines for $ 100.
It worked out awesome, I'll be gathering up more of what I need here in the near-future to do the swap. ( i.e. brake pads, sand blasting & painting stuff, etc. )

Yup, OEM, just went to the dealer and asked for front brake hoses for a 2000 Corvette....sorry I don't have the p/n handy.
Here's a pic though:
