Sold preorders ends 3/15

Starting Thursday, January 29, 2009, dealers can begin to submit through Order Workbench stock orders for the 2010 Camaro.

Customer sold orders will continue to be accepted, and will be recognized as part of the Early Ordering Activity if the sold orders are submitted by March 15, 2009. Sold orders submitted prior to March 15, 2009, will receive a Camaro Welcome Kit and a special factory processing option code (R6P). This code acknowledges the order was part of the activity will be added by GM, and appear in such places as the invoice and window label.

Is the Welcome Kit the 2nd letter with the concept sketch/photo that most of us here have received? The option code is a pretty cool touch.

So are you telling us that after March 15th we won't be able to order a Camaro until the next model year?

No what he is saying I think is just that after 3/15 you will not be included in the initial "Early Ordering Activity" and you will not get the Camaro Welcome Kit and a special option code. Basically you will not be recognized at ordering one of the first ones...
