t-56 part...

Hey guys!

My name is Jason, and im new here. i dont actually own a camaro, but i bought a t-56 from a member here, and im installing it in my 86 monte carlo ss.

im getting ready to finish the install by bolting the tranny in, but im missing a part. i need to find the actuator bracket that bolts between the bellhousing and the actuator itself. anyone know where i can find one? maybe someone has an extra laying around? i already checked the dealership, and they cant get it, discontinued part. Thanks in advance!

Welcome. Unfortunately GM feels compelled to discontinue parts that we seem to need (especially those for T56 swaps), but you might be able to pick one up in the "For Sale" section. Also try ebay (doubtful) or start searching junkyards.

Good luck. Top 3 hardest parts to find doing a swap. Other 2 are the inspection cover and the shifter console; that is if swapping to another 4 gen.
