TD weight diff

Im ordered the summit 3in xpipe kit yesterday with a couple of spiral flows. I have a 3in ypipe that runs to a flowmaster in the stock location. If I dump the sprial flows before the axle, will that be a lighter setup than what I have now?

if it IS...it won't be by much i don't think.

i recall my TDs being about as heavy to carry as my old magnaflow
