how long will this tranny last???

hey guys, I've got a 4L60e, stock except for the 3000 stall
my mods are in my sig
how long should I expect my stock tranny to last?
I will NOT be running DR's or slicks
I will be shifting at about 6300 rpms
don't quite have the money to get it built til maybe july or august...will it last that long?

Any answer would be a wag. How many miles are on it? How does it shift now does it slip at all or is it firm? Is the fluid bright red or brown? I see you have a shift kit and stall. You really need to get a cooler on there heat kills. Keep the fluid cool and clean and it will last longer.

Not long without a cooler. I'd be afraid to run one on a stock tranny at all, but I'd think they'd hold up fine. My brother's trying it out right now.

don't the 97 trannys have a line running into the radiator??? thus giving them a built in tranny cooler? or am I just insane?
