Should I even try to bring this car to L.A.?

I am moving to L.A. in August. I have a 94 Z28, it's Electron Blue, no emissions (LT4 Hotcam, Hooker LT's, True Duals right now but will soon be a 4" Mufflex, all the other bolt-ons). Should I just sell the car and get like a 328IS, something still nice but legal and better on gas? Any opinions on how I could keep my car without putting all the emissions stuff on it? IS there away to get around the inspections or pass with what I have (by turning back the timing, throwing on one huge cat for the test, etc...)? ANY thoughts are appreciated!

You wont pass vissual. There probably ins't any way for that to pass. You need cats and shorty headers. The cam will pass. You also need all of the emission stuff on there or it wont pass. I would just sell it if you don't want to do the work.

Maybe buy another one? Or just go with the BMW.

I would take it over there and keep it registerd in arizona at a freinds house and keep a arizona drivers licence :P Thats what a freind of mine did :P
