I go to Shepard AFB in Witchita Falls Texas for 4 months on the 12th and then come home for 2 weeks before going to Boston. Mike, I thought the exact same thing. I'm so glad that I'm getting stationed nearby. That was the first thing I thought of when I heard the state the base was in. I went straight to the library and looked up your town and the AFB to see how far away I will be. Needless to say I was quite excited. It's going to be a wonderful summer indeed.
