Looks to me like it's finally a legitimate competitor to the Lexus ES. Actually looks nicer than the ES to me and probably wouldn't be hard for it to be better-built since the current ES has had quite a few assembly issues and complaints about a step down in interior materials.
Make sure to check out all the pics... there's an interior pic in there toward the end.

Comparing that pic to the production photo it looks like they stuck pretty close to the game plan, and for that I'm proud of them.
For the last few years now I've been saying GM has been heading in the right direction with most aspects of their interior design except for their center stacks. They finally got it right! Well, the CTS' center stack is actually fine too... but this is the first non Caddy GM center stack I've seen come out that looks really nice.
This car may end up on my list of potential candidates to replace my 335i if pricing stays reasonable and so long as it ends up being the smooth, quiet, and refined ride you'd expect from buick and they don't try to turn it into a sport sedan like the CTS.

Looks good with these tail pipes http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....-06.kgp.ed.jpg
and the big wheels (19"?) Interior also looks fantastic. This is what Buick needs, very modern looking. it is also different than its smaller platform mate the 2010 Buick Regal

Its nice to see that they're sticking so closely to the Invicta concept with the exterior styling lines and especially the interior. I wonder if they're keeping the hood vents?

The hood vents should still be on there. The prototypes had tape covering just the part of the hood where they should be, so...
wow... I been trying to talk my mom into getting a new car (300M) last generation not to current one. And I have been trying to sell her on a Cadillac but she says that the lines are too hard for her taste. She like rounded cars.. this might be the ticket to her heart.
Awesome job GM.
Interior is stick very original... love it.
