Truck:
- 2001
- F-250 SD
- SuperCab
- 4x4
- Shortbox
- V10
- 3.73
- 152k miles
Green exterior
Tan interior
When I bought the truck two years ago, I didn't realize that it needed so much work. Now that I've spent thousands getting it perfect, the (soon to be) wife wants something smaller (Trailblazer). She's scared to drive it in the winter as it's "too big". So, I'm looking for a TBSS - that way we can both be happy.
All the front suspenion items:
(all Moog parts with recepits)
- Upper and Lower ball joints
- Inner and Outer tie rod ends
- F350 Diesel Front springs with an Add-a-Leaf (truck sits level now)
- Bilstein Shocks
- Monroe steering stabilizer
- Back Procomp Rock Crawlers 16x10
- 35" tires (programmed to correct spedo)
- New power steering tank
Other items done:
- New serpentine belt
- Front & Rear Diffs just changed
- Trans just flushed
- Fuel Fliter done
- New Driver and passenger door lock
- Viper Remote start
- Oil changes every 3k
- Airbag clock spring repalced
- Front brakes at 85%, rears are BRAND new.
Extra's:
- Excursion Gille (along with stocker)
- Gille Guard
- Extang FullTilt Tonneau Cover
- Stock Wheels included
- American Racing 16x8 wheels also included
- Tires mounted on the AM Wheels (so-so condition)
Issues:
- Paint bubble (surface rust) on the passenger rear fender (quarter size)
- Driver window stops half way down, will finish when you try again.
- Sometimes the radio will get louder when your turn it down
- I moved the bumper out about 2 inches to fit the tires.
There are no real issues with the truck, and no dreaded shake like other SD memebers talk about. It tows my 5,500lb trailer fine, but it's a bit over kill for us.
I have receipts for all the work done (I am crazy about keeping things like that). I can even give you my local Ford dealers number, and let them tell you about the truck. It's a good running, driving truck, but not what the family needs right now. I get more pictures if you need them - just ask. I can also give you references from other people that I've had buy my cars.
