So what should I use...

Almost out of Zaino. All I have left is half bottle of Z2. which I was going to use but.... my ZFX hardened up.

Should I just use Z2 without anything, or do you guys reccomend any over the counter stuff?

I am going to start researching... I just washed the car down and clayed it, its sitting in the garage now, I can throw a coat on of zaino now and let it sit fo 3-4 hours then remove it and throw another layer on, to leave overnight.

Or should I just run out and get something in the store, and just chuck my Zaino stuff its pretty old.

You don't have to use ZFX. It just takes longer for the Z2 to dry.

I been reading most say it doesn't last as long. Consensus of some searching on several boards was that the base coat you should use Z-1 or ZFX, or it just doesn't bond with teh paint. Also its a bit cold, to add into the factor of it.

Anyways, I kind of even question my Z2. I have off/on bought stuff and updated my supplies since 2003. This bottle of Z2 could be 2-3 years old, its at least 1-2 years old thats for sure.


Going to give NXT 2.0 paste a try. I know its not the same level, but I think I need to restock my entire Zaino supply some day, I heard they revamped all the products anyways. Starting school/holidays/need to drop ~$1k on the wifes car, not a good time to spend ~$100-120 for some wax.

btw place I was talking about in 2006 on this site... now listed for $187k, and its on the market for $167k.

Upgrades help the townhome is ~$10-15k over everything else on the block.


Wow my parent's place is still $480k in south Florida.
