Gents for sale is a 1969 Z28, authentic Z28. I had jerry macneish visit my warehouse a few weeks ago since I figured for his reasonable fee, i would have a complete accounting of what i actually had, and this would give the buyer a much greater feel of what they would contemplating as well.
The exterior is Burnished brown, and the metal work and paint are outstanding. The interior is excellent as well.
Jerry certified the car as an authentic Z28, its the real deal. it has an authentic drive train though is not numbers matching as you might find on the 100k type z28.
rather than me ad-lib it, go to 911flatnose.com and select the camaro or go here directly http://www.911flatnose.com/Other/Camaro1969/index.html
and you can check it out yourself. jerrys' report and cert is there as well.
one note: jerry visited on a day when i couldnt personally bring him any documentation. i do though have a huge 3 ring binder with page upon page of every receipt and purchase that was made when the car was frame -off rotiserie restored. jerry did the carb, etc. and i also have photos of the entire restoration process provided to me by the guy from whom i bought the car/who did the restore.
i bought the car reasonable. I like it a lot, its a very nice car. i personally would want a all numbers matching car for my collection. that is not to diminish the value or price of this car. this car is a rare color , great color, authentic car. it needs maybe 10k$ of work to get all the small little odds and ends squared up. I personally dont have the expertise to do it myself and not sure who i would trust to do it.
its a very nice car for someone that wants a real deal z28 but doesnt want to spend 85 to 120k$.
call if you'd like to discuss. i'm open to offers but im looking for something in the low 60s range.
