carpet set?

has anyone used a "trim parts" carpet set? I bought one from tamraz's discount warehouse. The heel toe pad is very warped and the passenger footwell has a very unsightly lump in it. The people at trim parts want me to fix thier product with a heat gun? does this sound right?

I would say that is correct. During shipping, the rubber backing for the carpet gets deformed. Use a heat gun to flaten the rubber back out...
