My Anniversary Z28 has different guages

My 1997 White Anniversary Edition Z-28 has analog odometer and trip meter while all other 1997 Anniversary Editions have digital, can anyone help me why mine is so different from others?

I thought that stopped with the 96's but some early production cars in 97 may have still had it??

Does your VIN indicate it is a very early production number?

I will have to check my VIN but what I want to know is how many of Anniversary Editions where built like this. I have only found not even 4 for sale or on Ebay that have analog guages and I have my original window sticker so I know all that is on my car is original equip. My car was built in August 1996 so obviously was the first run of 97 model year.

I doubt there are records kept of how many early 97 production cars had the 96 dash cluster.

The guage cluster is a cluster off a 97 it just has the analog odo and trip, from what I understand now that all august 96 production has that.
