t-56 tranny

I have a 98 z with no problems other than the tranny. I'm wanting to rebuild with tranny parts from the t-56 in the viper (shift forks, synchros, gears). I just want to know if anyone has done this before and if they would fit wihtout doing any modifications. Any help would be appreciated.

My freind Taner has gotten his tranny rebuilt. He got a viper shift fork, new synchros, and his input, output shafts and cluster chryogenically frozen. It was done at D&D Transmission in MI.

Oh yeah Taner loves it. He's gone a best of 10.14 with it since the rebuild.
