Winter Tires Or All-Season

I have been debating this for awhile now. I still haven't decided if I want the SS or LT, but I do know I am getting the RS. Since they don't offer All-Season 20 inch tires left me in a dilemma. Should I get 20 inch winter tires and just change them by season, or should I just get the All -Season tires and don't have to worry about changing the tires every season, or my last option would be just buy some cheap 18 inch rims and just buy some winter tires so I can just change the wheel/tire myself when the time of the year comes.

Tough one. How much dry performance do you want to have?

I dont have a Camaro, but I will tell you this. I have a 07 Charger R/T and it came with 20" wheels and all seasons from the factory. I live in Michigan. The car was not good in the snow.

I bought a set of take off wheels from ebay for $75 a wheel and purchased Bridgstone Blizzaks for the front and rear. I now feel more confident in my RWD car that my wifes Crew Cab 4x4 truck. Deep snow is still 4x4 terratory but in normal icy and snow covered roads my car is great.

Tough one. How much dry performance do you want to have?

Well I will love to have dry traction like what a high performance summer tire will bring, but I will compromise if it’s an All-Season. I am not planning to do road courses so a decent amount of dry performance will be ok with me.

If I remember right, among just about everything else on this car, the tires were very carefully scrutinized. The all-season tires that Chevrolet went with for the 2010 Camaro with have 80% capability of show tires.

Is there an option to order summer tires?

All-seasons stink for everything.
