98 Camaro Z28 hardtop auto LS1 106k miles $4500 tulsa, ok

I have a 98 camaro Z28 for sale. It has a motor out of an 02 TA firebird with only 42k miles on it(does not have the ls6 intake though). I purchased the car and put the motor it in about 2k miles ago.

The transmission shifts fine. The motor does not use any oil. Tires have good tread on them still. I just had the car aligned after I put the motor in the car. It has new belts on the motor. I put new spark plugs in when I changed the motor. It had 3:73 gears put in right about 2500 miles ago.

The car is not perfect by any means, but it is a solid car. It definitely needs new paint. The plastics inside the rear hatch are not mounted properly and I have not checked to see what it needs to be fixed, but they are mostly all there and look ok the way they are. The stereo cuts out when on am/fm stereo but is fine when playing a cd or mp3 cd(I will try to find another cd player before I sell the car). The rear bumper has a hole in and a small crack, I don't know how it happened, was like that when I got it(I will be trying to find another before I sell also, have a lead on one now).

I would keep the car, but I need to pay some taxes and get a more economical car because there is a baby on the way. All in all it is a good car, with a minimal amount of tlc it would be in really good shape.

I can deliver for about .75 cents a mile, maybe cheaper if you bought me a plane or bus ticket home.

Also, I have a comp cam($200) and the old engine($650) that can go with it if purchased with car, otherwise it will be slightly higher. The motor started knocking on and off from what I believe was the oil pump going out. It didn't do it all the time, just randomly, but it was definitely a knock.

i bought the car like it is, so i dont know. the guy i bought it from didnt have it very long either, then the motor started knocking and he sold it to me. thats pretty much all the history i have on it. it drives straight though.

Id like to get the car from ya but only way I'd be able to do it is on payments right now since we're getting ready to have a baby in a month. Best I could do right now would be $250 a week, I know that wont happen, so how much for the other engine outright? Will you sell it before the car sells? Been watchin your car for a while on craigslist.

i will take $650 for the motor and yes i will sell by itself. if you have something to trade that might be easy for me to sell i might be interested.

Hey swey, Tryin to work a deal right now on a 98 B4C that has a bad engine. Thats why I was askin about it seperately, Just thought id let ya know so you wouldnt think I forgot about ya. Just tryin to get the deal on the car first. free bump for ya too.

Deal went through, will be pickin the car up sometime this week. The engine thats in it needs one cylinder resleeved and 3 pistons..... its complete though so I might be able to sell off some parts and stuff off that motor and come up with part of the $$$. Things are a little tight right now between gettin that car and re-flooring the house and gettin ready for this baby. lol. I will see about gettin some extra $ put together though. Want to get this car put together before its time for diapers every day :D. Will try to let ya know somethin soon.
