Guys,

Just wanted to throw this out here to let members know that Robert Wilkerson (a friend of mine) Is going to be opening up a shop local in Charlotte soon.He is a certified ASE mechanic with 15 years experience that can install what ever you want on your LT1/LS1.He can install , gears, converters, heads, cams, headers and just about anything else to think of.
He is working in conjunction with Mike Oshae of More Performance on a new set of LS1 longtube headers and will install very cheap.
Visit my website in my sig to get info.
or Robert can be reached at 704-236-2849.

When I have more info on the locatio of the shop I will post , but for now Robert is installing and working from a friends shop.

Give him a yell , He is a cool guy.

Also just to let everyone know,
Robert said that just to get his name out there he will start off installing cams, headers,tc, exhausts dirt cheap so all you gotta do is call and ask.
He is my personal GM mechanic and I wont let anyone else near the car.Call him at the number above to just ask him questions.
Some business owners wont talk with you unless you have money in hand, but Robert loves to talk LT1 / LS1 so he will answer your questions without expecting payment for advice :)
If you are local and need him to come pick the car up and return it to you he can.He also is involved in Dyno tuning.

Thanks

Mike

PS... If Robert does not answer please leave him a message and he will get back to you.

Mark,

No Flame taken at all.
Robert does not have access to a computer or internet service.
He works from dark to dark on cars and has very little time to chat on the puuter :)
Believe it or not some of my closest racing buds dont get online that includes Paul Blythe (drives the 10 second 2000 Pewter LS1 TA) , Thomas Hawkins with the Green 383 Stroker 93 TA with Vette wheels)
Later bro

Sure do.
Rock is doing just fine.He has been working in construction for the past few years and does not work on cars much any more.
Thomas and Rock are real close so he still tunes on his car some , but even went as far as to sell all his tools.
Its a shame because the man was a LT1/LS1 wizard.

Mikie, How much do you think he will charge to put in a 3.73 gear. One of my friends, Jason Dellenger (don't know if you know him, his family owns Dellenger Enterprises in belmount), used to work at more performance and told me to do it there, but I might just get your friend to do it.

FirehawkNS,
Robert would do it pretty cheap.Im guessing if you got the materials he would probably charge $75 labor to put the gears in.
Just give him a yell and tell him I told you to call.704-236-2849
Also , Robert and I both know Jason D. We used to hang out at the tracks...that is until JD got too fast for everyone :D
I have not seen Jason in about 1 year.If you see him tell him I asked about him and hope hes doing ok.

Ryanne,

Terrys car was cranking along to some 7.00 passes until 2 months ago when he blew the motor to bits!!!!!
Terry is the type of person that will always push the limmits of his car.I really hate it for him because its sitting in his yard under a tarp right now.Hopefully he can get a new engine in before fall of the upcoming season.

I haven't talked to Jason in a few months now but I know that he is selling his TA. Its a shame to see that car go. I think he got too busy at work though to keep it up.
