Direct aftermarket Involvement

Has anyone heard anything about if companies like SLP and GMMG will be involved in making special dealership specific cars like the 4th gen f-cars and the Beger and Tom Henry cars?

Both of those companies have expressed that they "have plans" but i'm sure most others have plans too

If we see any, it will probably be seen at SEMA 08.

I received a new SLP catalog in the mail yesterday and the back cover has cartoon renderings of the G8, Challenger & the 5th gen (front & center) under the caption "STAY TUNED!" so they've got plans. Dealer specific cars?

From what I understand, aftermarket companies are "standing 10 deep" right now waiting to get to work on the car and offering parts for it.

If we see any, it will probably be seen at SEMA 08.

SEMA '09 wll be bigger than '08 for the aftermarket. This year will see GM Perf. Parts mostly because the aftermarket hasn't had time with a production model yet.

I heard a rumor that Livernois was getting a car to play with some stuff. It was just a rumor, though.
