Geometry of early and late Spindles?

Brake upgrade question here. I'm thinking about a brake upgrade for my 95 Z - Convertible, and thinking about just swapping the front spindles for a 1998 Z. That way I can just bolt on the calipers and slip on the Rotors - Vola! Brakes upgraded... I have a line on a very affordable set of spindles from a 98 so my question is this:

Is the geometry of the spindle the same from early to late 4th gen? The ones I have access to have the Hubs still in them, so I should be able to just get 98 calipers and rotors right? I know I'll have to do something with the brake lines (the 93-97 ones are a little shorter) but other than that, I should be good to go, right?

I appreciate any help that you guys can provide. I'm trying to pinch my pennies so I can get a new one when they come out, so I don't want to spend a bunch of money on the upgrade, but would like to stop better...

Thanks in advance, Capt. Jim

Yes, they are the same. I did this conversion on my car a few years ago with a set of slotted rotors and Hawk street pads. The difference was amazing and it cost me a total of 500 bucks. You shouldn't have to do anything with the brake lines either, I didn't. I am now considering doing the C6 ZO6 front conversion. You can get a bracket adapter kit for around 100-200 bucks, brand new 6 piston calipers for 500, pads and rotors for around 200. End result would work better than what I have now and look pretty cool and cost 1/3 of a equivalent Baer/Wilwood setup. This is assuming you have wheels big enough to fit them though. Just food for thought :)
