No Start, No security light on bulb check

I have a 1995 T/A that won't crank all of a sudden. The Security light doesn't even turn on when i move the key from off to On, everything else does a bulb check though. I can't tell if its the VATS screwing up or not because of the light. Is the security light supposed to do a bulb check?

Also by no start, i mean no crank, though fuel pump does seem to prime when move the key from off to on though.

Blah, i had the courtesy circuit fuse pulled due to a parasitic drain. Ironically, the security light for the anti theft system works from that circuit, so it was disabled. After putting the fuse back in, i saw that the anti theft system had the car disabled, caused by crappy connection at the resister wire harness that connects the steering column etc.
