Anyone here from Oklahoma?

I'm looking into moving there to start over, make a better living. Anyone have any info on there? Is there a drag strip nearby? How is the racing there compared to racing in Epping, NH (I live in Boston now.)? Thanks.

sent you mail back yes there is a local track here in tulsa one also in OKC just outside of norman about 1.5-2 hrs away both good tracks

You'll be the only person moving TO Oklahoma to make a better living...most people move OUT of Oklahoma to make a better living. The taxes suck, the rods suck, there are only 2 tracks to race at that are worth a sh!t, there is basically nothing to do except fight, fu@k, or drink. If you expect nice-looking women, you can expect to figh some guy over his sister to get a chance. The ONLY thing that nasty-ass state has going for it is that they did away with car inspections a couple years ago. Other than that, the area blows. Move to Dallas, TX if you are going ot go somewhere to make a better living, or just about anywhere in Kansas. But Oklahoma.......don't ruin your life by moving there.

Nothing wrong with Oklahoma. Don't let the hater talk you out of it before you hear from some other people. Boston does suck...visited there for 3 weeks for training. Everything is more expensive, traffic sucks...dirty and old town. Some good places to visit...but no need to move there....too crowded there.
