Will aftermarket ignition box cure minor cam surge?

Have minor cam surge under 2K RPM. The majority of it has been removed by the dyno tune, but there is some remaining that can not be removed.

I was told that an aftermarket ignition like a MSD 6AL or D6 will cure this.
Is this true?

No, it would make no difference.
