Since it's not an f-body I know something like having an 'F' in the VIN or some other tribute to the fbody came up way back.
Anything like that still happening?

PacerX 08-11-2008, 01:16 PM Either way, right or wrong, I shall call it "F5". JasonD 08-11-2008, 01:24 PM Either way, right or wrong, I shall call it "F5". As well you should, I like it. ChrisL 08-11-2008, 05:22 PM I am almost positive that there is indeed an F in the VIN. it's a done deal.... F will be the vehicle designation in the VIN and you wouldnt believe just how long... and how many hoops Cheryl had to jump through... to make that happen internally at GM. it's a minor detail, one that could have easily been skipped over, considering the red tape that had to be shredded...... I'm glad Cheryl fought that battle. It's a nice piece of heritage to maintain. HuJass 08-11-2008, 05:41 PM Chris, Is this a story that can be told now? Cuz it sounds like it might be a pretty cool little story. JasonD 08-11-2008, 06:22 PM Chris, Is this a story that can be told now? Cuz it sounds like it might be a pretty cool little story.
