Will this cable allow me to read and tune the PCM in my 1995 z28? With the appropriate software and a computer of course.

Yes, The 1995 has an OBD1 PCM and IF you have a 16 pin (OBD2 type) connector that cable will work.

Well, the only reason I asked was because I had not seen that cable before. It's much cheaper than the overpriced AKM cables.

I'm curious too. Has anyone used this cable on a 1995 with Tuner Cats? Under MS Vista or XP too?

I got my 12 PIN/USB here " http://aldlcable.com/ " thier 16 PIN/USB looks the same as your cable in the picture. Price is $10.00 lower I paid $5.95 shipping about a year ago. Transaction was fast they sent a CD w/drivers and some free software. Also they take pay-pal which I prefer to use. I'm running XP on an IBM T30 once after installing the drivers and assigning the comm port it ran great never had any problems. Many, many scans, logs and a couple of dozen loads so far.

Thanks for theinfo. The 16 pin USB cable certainly looks like the same picture at both websites!

I saw that site after I posted this. I will probably get that cable and another 16-pin end for my scanmaster.

Thanks!
