compared to the "camaro" fender badging shared with the V6 What do you think? Personally I like this mix of old "302" on the fender mixed with Z06 badging, but what do you think?

jg95z28 07-30-2008, 11:10 AM I wish people would quit using photobucket. :p
skorpion317 07-30-2008, 11:11 AM That would look horrible on the Camaro. On pretty much any car, actually.

I agree that it doesn't look very good.
Let the Z06 have that badge. I just want a slash in Z/28. :p

what does that have to do with SS?
BitchinCamaro 07-30-2008, 11:34 AM I am sure the aftermarket will pick up on the lack of badges. There will be plenty of options. Even without them, you can get first gen SS badges, or modern ones off a Cobalt or TrailBlazer.
As for me, I'll be keeping mine as it is from the factory.
NOS2006 07-30-2008, 11:41 AM what does that have to do with SS?
Absolutely nothing. It's just the only potential problem I have with the badges on the new car.
Big Als Z 07-30-2008, 11:47 AM Leave Camaro on it. Its not a Z car, dont put Z badges on it.

who suggested that?
2010SSVERT 07-31-2008, 01:18 PM To me that badge is for the engine, not any trim level. A sticker version for the bulge on the hood would be pretty nice.
BigErik 08-03-2008, 08:07 AM Less is more on the new cars i think I have an 89 IROC-Z and they are sticker and emblem posterchilds LOL I love my car but the new ones need to be as simple as possible
JakeRobb 08-21-2008, 12:03 AM I would prefer that people spell things right.
That LS3 badge looks like crap.
6SpdLT1Z 08-21-2008, 12:58 AM I'd prefer a more curved "retro" SS badge.

savage99ss 08-21-2008, 11:15 AM I hope there is a SS emblem under the new style Camaro badges on the side of the car.

I'd be surprised if there aren't hood bulge emblems offered as dealer installed options right away, like say..maybe 6.2 or something. I'd have to see what they looked like on the car first.
ImportedRoomate 08-21-2008, 04:04 PM Keep in mind that only manual SS's will have the LS3. Autos get the L99.
91BigRedz28 08-21-2008, 07:46 PM I'm more concerned with seeing "SS" centered on the grill and on the back end of the car. Horsepower rating or something on the hood bulge would be cool, as a few have mentioned, but that LS3 blob just isn't doing it for me.
wirewilly 08-30-2008, 03:42 PM IMHO I think the SS Camaro should proudly display huge "SS" emblems smack dead center of the grill and between tail lights. The General can let go of the "Bowtie".Please, let go of the bowtie. The car looks like a Hotwheel for cryin' out loud. How is that metallic yellow bowtie going to look on my Aqua Blue Camaro with white stripes? Can you say " H I D I O U S"! Again, IMHO
