Duke 12-26-2002, 10:18 PM 17" is my offical limit. Any bigger belongs on a truck :D robvas 12-26-2002, 10:23 PM I've never had a problem with them on Camaros, other than sliding off the road into curbs :D 215/40-17's weren't a good idea on my Eclipse though. The roads suck way too much around here. The 275's or 245's on a Camaro are big enough to protect the wheel. I would think 18's would be okay, you might have to be careful. A lot of guys run them. An 18" wheel is a pain to replace, and expensive. Same goes for the tires. At least you can get a 245/45 or 275/40 in stock at some places ROADRAGE 12-27-2002, 03:05 AM IMO 18" is too much on a daily driver. I love the way they look on my car, but i go through a lot of rims and tires. If you do go 18, dont be cheap. Fikse or HRE will hold up a lot better that 300 dollar wheels. kandied91z 12-27-2002, 03:50 AM i would hope so at a min of 3,000 more. you could ruin 4 sets to their one. how do you go through many sets??? ROADRAGE 12-27-2002, 04:09 AM potholes, curbs, more potholes, more potholes. MORE POTHOLES, and a curb kandied91z 12-27-2002, 02:05 PM what series tire are you typically running? damn those pot holes.... :) ROADRAGE 12-27-2002, 04:17 PM 245/40/18 285/35/18 | ||
