my sons center support bearing gave way on his 94 3.4 auto convertable and i need to change it and the c/v jouint as the sealing boot ripped. i managed to get the 2 halves seperated but can't seem to figure out how the c/v joint comes off the front driveshaft section to give you access to the center support bearing. on the same note i've read that most camaro driveshafts includig the 1 piece are interchangeable......does that include the front yoke
ie: the manual's and auto have the same front yoke.....also i've seen some camaro driveshafts with a huge balancing ring on the front of the shaft...will that clear everything. i think i'd like to just fix the one that's in there if the parts are available. i called 2 parts houses tonight and neither had a listing for the center support bearing and i didn't realize at that point the the c/v joint boot was ripped.............
thanks
