Any Chance the Chevy Trax will be built?

- Equinox is getting a little bigger and is said to be competition for the Ford Edge, that leaves space for a small crossover.
- Lutz recently said GM had a small CUV on the way.
- Chevy Trax will be in Transformers 2. Why advertise a vehicle that will never be built? This isn't a cool concept supercar like the Cadillac Cien. Its a main mainstream compact vehicle.

I don't think it will but I do think it should be. It was my favorite concept, and the 1 I voted for.

In current form, the trax would be smaller than the HHR.

Yeah, that Trax looks Aveo sized.

I just don't understand why that would give it a high profile spot in one of Summer 2009's biggest movies if it isn't going to be built.

All 3 of the triplets are roughly the same size, smaller than the Aveo.

Despite the Beat winning the contest, I bet the Trax would be the most popular in America. It's like a toy version of a Chevy truck!

Trax might not be the most popular based on looks, but it is the most practical being a 4 door and having optional AWD. A lot of Americans don't want to give up the SUV quite yet because they feel they need AWD to survive a winter.

IMO, Pontiac should have the Beat, and Chevrolet should have the Trax.

I actually liked the Groove better than the trax. The trax looks like a small jeep liberty to me with those headlights.

Groove would make a great 2nd gen HHR. Of course It would then have to grow slightly.
