Yeah, tires and 60'
You should be in the low 12s with a good launch.

I had the stock wheel and tire combo on it, with about 3/32 tread left on front and back. 245/60/16 I think it was spinning threw first and second, or my clutch was spinning, couldn't really hear.

With that much power and stock tires, you'll never hit good times. You NEED drag radials and probably some suspension. That will gain you more at the track than anything else you can do now...

Previous Owner Said he ran a 12.8@112 with drag radials, which i would be happy with. I just don't understand how other people are runing low 12's, even high 11's with not as much stuff done.

Even 112mph traps are good for mid-low 12s. You NEED suspension too.

You'd be suprised at the help good tires and good suspension will be, if the car trapped 112 and only running 12.8 he was spinning those drag radials too...

If I remember correctly when I talked to him last, yes I believe your right he was spinning threw 60ft. But I would think that would be a good thing to have a little spin rather than a hook-and bog. But I could be wrong, my goal is to get it out of the 13’s for now.

I remember that Popular Hot Rodding had a 95 Z28 that eventually ran 12.3@113 as a project car and that car had Mt et streets and a road race suspension.Check that article out.
