Like is there some that do better than others. bombebomb 06-26-2008, 08:52 PM That was some awesome information, but what i mean is there a certain motor that is just the best to use when trying to build a motor just to spray the **** out of? No stock motor is made for it. 2strokefreak 06-28-2008, 01:36 PM I understand it has to be built up to handle it but is there a stronger starting point? LSWHO 06-28-2008, 01:48 PM I understand it has to be built up to handle it but is there a stronger starting point? I suppose a motor that came from the factory with forced induction may be SLIGHTLY better. But I doubt it. It all has to be rebuilt for a big shot. rskrause 06-29-2008, 12:11 PM Go to www.kennedysdynotune.com and at the drop down list under "Tech Tips" go to "Motor Tech". Written by yours truly. Rich slomarao 06-30-2008, 02:27 PM You need to read up on n2o motors. They are much different than an NA motor. Search, you will find plenty. 2strokefreak 06-30-2008, 08:32 PM I Know about using nuitrous. I was just wandering if one motor was better than another but i guess no one can just say yes this motor is or no not really. They have to be built to nitrous standards regardless! rskrause 06-30-2008, 10:00 PM did you read what I wrote? I think it covers the basics. Injuneer 07-04-2008, 12:20 PM All you appear to be interested in is the block, since everything else can be beefed up for nitrous. If you are concerned about a very stout block, look into the aftermarket blocks from Dart, World, Brodix, etc. They are built for brute strength, not economic mass productions like a stock block. That said - and we have no idea what limits you want to put on the question - the LT1 block has proven to be capable of power levels far in excess of the predecessor SBC factory production blocks. In many ways, the details of the LT1 block mirror the features of the GM "Bowtie" block. But since you haven't told us what the limits of the question are, that's about all anyone will be able to tell you. Might want to consider the fact that many mutli-thousand HP engines are based on the Chrysler Hemi (not the current version) engines. You want the ultimate..... try Sonny's. http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/ http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/hemiengine.jpg | ||
