low coolant light

the light comes on and then like a ninja vanishes only to reapear some other time. i flushed the system in my LT1 and refilled but it is still on ? I know the level is fine but that light is making me crazy!

its common..faulty sensor. you can replace it, or just unplug it

resevoir may actually be a little low, double check it. it will drink some coolant over a number of heat cycles as well as take a number of "burpings" to get all the air out. i freaking hate the LT1 cooling system!

where is the connection so i can unplug it? is it on the rad. itself?

Take the battery out and you'll see it sticking out of the radiator.

check the level several times; it could just be a sensor or a burb or air, but then again you could have a hole in your head gasket or something like that.... better safe than sorry when it comes to the fluid that keeps your bearings happy. Stay on top of it

buy another sensor you cheap bastards :) when your 15 yr old radiator hose(s) spring a leak and you never know it until your motor seizes up.... well, nevermind, mechanics need work too. seriously though, it's a gauge i want to have on mine.
